1. Who we are

Pop1Stats (“we”, “us”, “our”) is operated by StoraH as a personal project based in Sweden. Pop1Stats is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to BigBox VR, Meta Platforms, or any of their subsidiaries.

2. What data we collect

We collect the following information:

  • Discord account data: When you log in via Discord OAuth, we receive your Discord user ID, username, avatar, and email address.
  • Player data: In-game player names and statistics from Population: One, sourced from third-party APIs.
  • Payment data: If you subscribe to Pop1Stats Supporter, payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details. We receive confirmation of your subscription status from Stripe.
  • Usage data: Basic analytics such as page views and feature usage to help us improve the service.

  • To authenticate your identity via Discord
  • To process Supporter subscription payments via Stripe
  • To display your player statistics and leaderboard rankings
  • To improve the service based on usage patterns

We only use essential cookies required to maintain your login session. Our analytics (PostHog) runs in cookieless mode. No tracking cookies are set. We do not use any third-party advertising cookies.

6. Where your data is stored

Pop1Stats is operated from Sweden but our servers and data are hosted in the United States (New York) to provide the best performance for the majority of our users. By using the service, you consent to your data being transferred to and stored in the US. We take reasonable measures to protect your data regardless of where it is stored.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated statistics may be retained indefinitely.

As we are based in the EU, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation:

  • Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Rectification: Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Erasure: Request deletion of your account and personal data.
