Terms of Service

1. About the service

Pop1Stats is a community-built statistics tracking platform for Population: One, created and operated by StoraH. Pop1Stats is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to BigBox VR, Meta Platforms, or any of their subsidiaries.

2. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Pop1Stats, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.

3. Accounts

  • You must authenticate via Discord to create an account.
  • You are responsible for your account and any activity under it.
  • One account per person. Multiple accounts may be terminated.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service.

4. Third-party data disclaimer

Pop1Stats relies on third-party data sources, including APIs provided by or related to BigBox VR, to display player statistics. We do not control these data sources and cannot guarantee their accuracy, completeness, or availability. Statistics may be delayed, incomplete, or temporarily unavailable due to factors outside our control.

You acknowledge that Pop1Stats is provided on a best-effort basis when it comes to data accuracy and availability. We are not responsible for any inaccuracies or gaps in the data provided by third parties.

5. Supporter subscription

  • Pop1Stats Supporter is a paid subscription that unlocks additional features.
  • Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) and auto-renew unless cancelled.
  • Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your payment details.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to Supporter features until then.
  • Your subscription grants access to Supporter features on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or accuracy of any data or features. Outages, bugs, data gaps, or service disruptions, whether caused by third-party sources, our own infrastructure, or any other reason, do not automatically entitle you to a refund or billing credit.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you feel your experience has been significantly impacted, contact us at [email protected] or on Discord and we will work with you.

6. Service availability

Pop1Stats is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep the service running but do not guarantee uptime or uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service (or any part of it) at any time.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service to harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Attempt to access data or features you are not authorized to use
  • Scrape, crawl, or automatically extract data from Pop1Stats without permission
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
  • Use the service for any illegal purpose

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pop1Stats and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, loss of profits, or damages resulting from inaccurate or unavailable third-party data.

9. Age requirement

Pop1Stats is designed for users aged 16 and older. If you are under 16, we recommend using the service with a parent or guardian's approval.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. If something isn't working for you, please reach out. We'd much rather sort things out over a conversation than anything else.
